Data transport in Logscape

When sending data into the logscape cloud there are two main options, upload the file directly, through the Logscape user control panel, or send the data to the Cloud through TCP/UDP using the syslog format. For Unix machines and network devices, Syslog is natively supported by the system, however, Windows machine don't have native support for syslog, so additional tools have to be used in order to forward your data into the cloud, such as NxLog.

In the Transport section of the Logscape documentation you will find a brief overview of how to configure syslog for unix machines, and how to configure NxLog to fill the same role on a windows machine. Application data features more in-depth guides for setting up data transmission for specific applications within your stack.
