Managing Teams Through LDAP

Logscsape supports the following roles

  • Read Only User
  • Read Write User
  • Team Admnistrator
  • System Administrator

Users are imported from Logscape with role R/W by default. The Team Filter defines the Team Administrator users. The System Administrator can not be configured from LDAP. Any users requiring full admin access to the system will need to be elevated manually. This is a safe guard to prevent accidental provisioning of administrator priveleges to a large group of users.

Changing Default Users Roles

The default user group can be changed by the -Duser.default.role system property.

-Duser.default.role=Read_Write_User

Changing Default Users Teams

The default user team can be changed by the -Duser.default.team system property.

-Duser.default.team=guest
